Chery Omoda 5 (XC). 2022 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, 1498, 1598 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Compact crossover, débuting a new design language for Chery, with rising window line and big grille that owed a little to Hyundai. Simple, avant-garde interior. Good power from the two petrol units (156 and 197 PS). Also exported under the Omoda brand as the C5. Sold on price for export, but quite a jump in price compared with some of Chery’s earlier compact crossover efforts.
