F/F, 970 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1051, 1075, 1171, 1302, 1372 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Bertone-designed city car, with facelift to Ideal II in 2006. Original models had 970 and 1075 cm³ only and continued to 2008; facelifted models saw a variety of engines, some from Suzuki, with whom Changhe has a JV. The II tag was eventually removed, and the model became the Ideal again. Uruguayan CKD models called Effa Ideal, exported to Brazil as Effa M100.
