Changan Benben. 2014 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door sedan. F/F, 1370 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 32, 38·7 kWh electric. Another smart effort from Changan in the subcompact sector, with cute looks and its Blue Core 1·4, launched just before the Beijing show for 2014. More stylish interior with seven-inch touch-screen at the centre, and better quality than previous Benben. Shift paddles for gearbox, rare for a cheap car, and a top speed of 175 km/h. Petrol models to 2016, EV from 2017.
