Attractive compact station wagon related to Chevrolet Menlo, launched initially with a 35 kWh battery; 52·5 kWh (Velite 6 Plus) launched later in 2019. Front permanent magnet synchronous motor developing either 85 kW or 110 kW. MacPherson struts up front and multi-link at rear. Wheelbase at 2,660 mm, meaning a commodious interior, and good head and shoulder room inside. Quite refined, and noise reduction technology quietened the cabin. Apple Carplay compatibility, Baidu Carlife mapping, cloud-based voice recognition, and other connectivity features. Plenty of safety functions as well. Eight-year or 160,000 km warranty in China on batteries, motors and electronic control systems.
