1979 Buick Skyhawk.jpg

Buick Skyhawk (H-body). 1975–80 (prod. n/a). 3-door coupé. F/R, 231 in³ (V6 OHV). Compact (by US standards) coupé derived from Chevrolet Vega, but heavy, cramped in the back, with poor ride and mileage, considering its size. Stylish with reasonable handling. Essentially the US replacement for the Opel Manta A, which had been sold through Buick dealers.

Manufacturing location: Lordstown, Ohio, USA; Sainte-Thérèse, Québec, Canada

Marque: Buick | Model: Buick Skyhawk | Predecessor: Opel Manta A | Successor: Buick Skyhawk (1982–9)
