From AutocadeBuick Rendezvous. 2002–7 (prod. 347,742 sold in US). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 3350, 3498 cm³ (V6 OHV), 3564 cm³ (V6 DOHC). GM attempts to make crossovers from a shortened U-body minivan platform, resulting in the Rendezvous and the Pontiac Aztek, both with odd proportions that proved less attractive than the Lexus RX and Acura MDX (YD1). Reasonable power from OHV V6s but not as good as rivals, while independent rear suspension helped with ride and handling. Well equipped, and included head-up display. Interior materials lacking except on flagship model. Third row folded flush with the floor, and reasonably spacious, though not as good as earlier minivans. DOHC V6 from 2004, 3·5 replaced 3·4 from 2006 model year. No AWD for 2007.
Marque: Buick | Successor: Buick Enclave (2008–17)
