Buick Regal (W-body). 1997–2008 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1998 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 2490, 3791 cm³ (V6 OHV). Upmarket version of Buick Century (1997–2005), with 3·8 V6 only in the North American markets, including supercharged version. Shanghai GM added the smaller engines, with a mid-term update in 2002 and the addition of the Ecotec four in 2003. Quite roomy, with seating for six on Canadian models, and considered well built. No traction control option. Canadian-built models to 2004 model year; Chinese models continued to the end of the run.
