Buick Excelle GX. 2017 to date (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/F, 999, 1349 cm³ (I3 DOHC). Essentially the wagon version of the Excelle GT, but, curiously equipped with smaller, three-cylinder engines. Disappointing interior, with seven-inch central screen and displays that felt a decade out of date. Sold at a lower price than its chief rivals, and, given that, the equipment levels were acceptable. Front and rear independent suspension, unlike rivals, which tended to have torsion beams at rear. Considered stylish at launch, especially compared with rivals such as Volkswagen Lavida.

Manufacturing location: China

Marque: Buick | Model: Buick Excelle | Predecessor: Daewoo Lacetti (J241)
