Buick Excelle GT/Buick Verano. 2010 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1598, 1796, 2384 cm³ (I4 DOHC). One half of the range replacing the Daewoo Lacetti (J241)-derived Excelle, complementing the Excelle XT hatchback based on the Opel Astra J, though, at first, it ran alongside the earlier car. Two engines at launch, the smaller 1·6 having a turbo, and the more powerful. On the same platform as the Astra and the Daewoo Lacetti (J300). Renamed Verano for US market, where it was shown at the 2011 Detroit Auto Show as a 2012 model, sporting the 2·4 Ecotec engine.
