Buick Excelle (J241). 2008–16 (prod. 2,680,000 approx. for all first-generation Excelle). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1485, 1598, 1799 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Facelifted version of the Daewoo Lacetti (J241) for the mainland Chinese market, with no real changes under the skin. Different sheetmetal from Excelle sold in Taiwan, though fundamentally the same car. Four-door continued alongside newer Excelle in China. Another facelift in 2013, modernizing the front further; rear end more substantially changed. New 1·5 added with revisions. Production ceased August 2016; sales continued into 2017.
