Buick Allure (MS2000/W-body). 2005–9 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 3564 cm³ (V6 DOHC), 3791 cm³ (V6 OHV), 5328 cm³ (V8 OHV). Slightly larger replacement for Century and Regal, sold as LaCrosse in the United States. Called Allure in Canada due to la crosse having a negative meaning in Québecois slang. CXS with sports’ suspension, 17-inch wheels, standard ABS and traction control, and anti-skid option. LaCrosse Super from 2007 with V8 and was the fastest production Buick (150 mph) to date. Despite sporting image, only average handling, coupled with average ride. Quiet with very smooth engines. Well equipped, and regarded as well built.
