2014 Besturn B70.jpg

Besturn (一汽奔騰/一汽奔腾) B70. 2014 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1796, 1999 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Second-generation B70, with base 2·0 engine developing 108 kW, and turbo 1·8 with 137 kW. RS models had mesh, rather than chrome, grille, signifying sporting ambitions. Upgraded to Mazda Atenza (GH) platform, which meant a similar suspension set-up to previous B70 (double wishbones at front, multi-link at rear). Longer wheelbase, helping with interior room, and increases in length and width, although new design had long front and rear overhangs. Incongruous dashboard design with seven-inch screen and not the best connectivity, though improved over previous model in terms of quality. Handling acceptable, and above average.

Manufacturing location: Changchun, Jilin, China

Marque: Besturn | Model: Besturn B70 | Predecessor: Besturn B70 Mk I
