Stylish mid-sizer, with FAW positioning it as a rival to Changan Eado (2012–17), Geely New Emgrand and Roewe 360, though it had a much longer wheelbase and was longer overall, on larger M2 (Mazda Atenza (GH)) platform shared with Besturn B70 Mk II. Base unit the 1·6, generating 80 kW; turbo 1·4 (from Volkswagen) had 100 kW.
