Bentley T-series (T1). 1965–76 (prod. 1,868). 2- and 4-door saloon, 4-door LWB saloon, 2-door convertible, 2-door coupé. F/R, 6230, 6750 cm³ (V8 OHV). Bentley moves to unitary construction and all-round independent suspension with T and twin Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow I—this series marked the greatest sharing of components with the Rolls-Royce. Customers opted for Bentley not for sportiness—by this time that aspect of the brand had gone—but for relative understatement. Upgrade to larger engine 1970. Two-door saloon from 1966 to 1971; convertible from 1967 to 1971. LWB saloon from 1971 to 1976. One-off coupé by Pininfarina in 1968.

Manufacturing location: Crewe, England

Marque: Bentley | Model: Bentley T-series | Predecessor: Bentley S3 | Successors: Bentley Corniche, Bentley T2
