Bentley Eight. 1984–92 (prod. 1,736). 4-door saloon. F/R, 6750 cm³ (V8 OHV). Entry-level Bentley, distinguished by wire mesh grille. Lower equipment levels than standard Mulsanne, which in 1980 was considered the basic model. Firmer suspension actually meant better handling. Originally UK-only, but proved popular enough to be exported to the Continent and the US.

Manufacturing location: Crewe, Cheshire, England

Marque: Bentley | Predecessor: Bentley Mulsanne | Successor: Bentley Brooklands (1992–7)
