2010 Bentley Continental GT.jpg

Bentley Continental GT/Bentley Continental GTC/Bentley Continental Supersports. 2003–11 (prod. 23,000 approx.). 2-door coupé, 2-door convertible. F/A, 5998 cm³ (W12 DOHC). Volkswagen débuts a new Continental to replace the former Rolls-Royce based models, inspired by the R-type ones of the 1950s, but on a platform related to the Volkswagen Phaeton. Bentley claimed it was the fastest four-passenger coupé, though it was dependent on how tall the front passengers were. Very well equipped, especially at the price, and performed well despite hefty weight. Lots of torque from base model (479 lb ft). GTC cabriolet shown 2005 and released 2006, GT Speed from 2007, with 600 PS on tap. GTC Speed from 2009. Supersports shown at Genève in 2009, with 630 PS and 800 Nm.

Manufacturing location: Crewe, Cheshire, England

Marque: Bentley | Model: Bentley Continental | Predecessor: Bentley Continental (1991–2002) | Successor: Bentley Continental GT (2010–)
