Baojun 730 (寶駿 730/宝骏 730). 2014 to date (prod. 250,000 sold to July 2015). 5-door MPV. F/F, 1485, 1798 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Minivan for GM’s budget brand, initially with 1·5; 1·8 added in January 2015. Lotus-tuned suspension on new platform developed by SAIC, GM and Wuling. Scored five stars in C-NCAP, the best rating for a minivan priced under RMB100,000. Traction control, Isofix child safety seat attachments, front and side airbags, reverse radar and reversing camera standard. Eight-inch centre console display inside, and fairly well constructed, despite the cheap price. Good manual transmission, and, despite its family market, moderately firm, supportive suspension. Built at a second factory in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang.
