Baojun 630 (寶駿 630/宝骏 630). 2010 to date (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 1485, 1798 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Ultra-cheap compact sedan entrant for GM, débuting a new brand and competing with domestic automakers. On the old Daewoo Lacetti (J241) platform. Targeted at first-time car buyers. A joint venture between GM partners SAIC and Wuling, and GM itself, using parts’ bin components. Roewe 1·5 engine thirsty, according to claimed figures, though less so than Lacetti. Fairly conventional looks for Chinese market. Simple interior, built to a price. Exported as Chevrolet Optra to North Africa.

Manufacturing location: Liuzhou, Guangxi, China
