Hatchback Einser follows the path of the three-box F52 saloon by going front-drive. On FAAR platform, a development of the UKL series. Shorter than predecessor by 5 mm but much more spacious, thanks to the shift to front-wheel drive, with room now matching Audi A3 Sportback. Big grille up front, part of BMW’s turn-of-the-decade design language. Excellent handling and gearshift; good ride though this could be too firm on larger wheels, and some road noise.
