Autozam Clef. 1992–4 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, F/A, 1991 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC), 1995, 2497 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Sports sedan version of Mazda Cronos, sold exclusively through Autozam chain, and mechanically related. Wider than 1,700 mm class 5 size, at 1,750 mm, and far larger than the small cars Autozam was associated with. Not successful, again thanks to Mazda’s mistaken belief it could grow numerous sales’ channels in a short space of time, and the shortest-lived of all the GE-platform derivatives.

Manufacturing location: Japan

Marque: Autozam | Successor: Mazda Capella (CG)
