A widened and lengthened Cambridge, the A90 Six Westminster continued the earlier A90 designation, and featured BMC’s new C-series six under the bonnet. Independent front suspension with coils and wishbones, leaf springs with live axle at rear. A105 supplemented A90 Westminster in May 1956 with twin-SU carburetted C-series six, developing 102 bhp (up from 85 bhp) with 141 lb ft of torque (up from 130 lb ft). Both were replaced by the autumn, making the original “short boot” A105 particularly rare.
