Austin A55 Cambridge. 1957–8 (prod. 154,000 incl. commercial versions). 4-door saloon, 2-door pick-up. F/R, 1489 cm³ (I4 OHV). Continuation of the A50, but with larger rear window and boot. The last 1½-litre Austin saloon with a unique body. Higher compression from B-series engine, now developing 51 hp. Coupé-utility developed and made in Australia for that market.
