2011 Audi A6 Hybrid.jpg

Audi A6/Audi S6/Audi RS6 (C7/4G). 2011–18 (prod. n/a). 4-door saloon, 4-door LWB saloon, 5-door estate. F/F, F/A, 1798, 1984 cm³ petrol, 1968 cm³ diesel, 1984 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (I4 DOHC), 2498, 2773, 2995 cm³ petrol, 2967 cm³ diesel (V6 DOHC), 3993 cm³ (V8 DOHC). Wider A6, with longer wheelbase, though roughly the same length as before. More aerodynamic, with a base Cd of 0,26. Some of the larger models’ gadgets brought down into this model line, including Audi’s head-up display and MMI (interface). Parking sensors even on base model. Double wishbones up front, multilink at rear. Not as rewarding to drive as BMW 5er-Reihe (F10); some reports went so far as to say uninvolving. LWB saloon launched in China early 2012. Facelift in 2014.
