Small car from Audi, on Volkswagen Polo V platform—putting the marque back to the sector it entered with the 50, its first “premium supermini” (even if the term had not been coined in the 1970s). Meant to compete with Mini (R55, R56, R57) and Fiat 500 (2007–) and marketed as such, though design lacks the same cuteness. More upmarket (albeit smaller) interior than Polo and firmer suspension. Slightly larger five-door Sportback shown 2011, convertible from 2013.
