Audi 90 (B3/Typ 89/Typ 8A). 1987–91 (prod. 184,907). 4-door saloon. F/F, F/A, 1994, 2226, 2309 cm³ (I5 OHC), 1994, 2309 cm³ (I5 DOHC). Upscale version of aerodynamic 80, with slightly different front and rear ends externally and colour-keyed bumpers. Suffered similarly from small boot, forcing 8A revision in 1990. First Audi with 20-valve engine since Audi Sport Quattro. Fully galvanized bodyshell.
