Audi 90 (B2/Typ 81/Typ 85). 1984–6 (prod. 105,593). 4-door saloon. F/F, F/A, 1588 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC), 1994, 2226 cm³ (I5 OHC). Essentially a facelifted and renamed version of Audi 80 (B2) equipped with five-cylinder engines (with exception of four-cylinder turbodiesel), conceived in response to BMW 3er-Reihe and Mercedes-Benz W201. Two-litre from 1986 with catalytic converter. More generous equipment levels than 80, with electric windows, mirrors and sunroof, headlamp cleaners, air conditioning and cruise control.
