Aston Martin DB AR1. 2002–4 (prod. 100). 2-door roadster. F/R, 5935 cm³ (V12 DOHC). Very exclusive development of DB7 with coachwork by Zagato and targeted at the US market only (initials stood for American Roadster 1). Chassis the same length as the original DB7, unlike DB7Z Zagato. Front end structure the same as other DB7s, saving money on crash testing. No folding roof, hence not a Volante. Power up to 435 bhp. All left-hand drive, except for one; majority went to the US but a handful were sold to continental buyers. Intended to be last Aston made at Bloxham.

Manufacturing location: Bloxham, Oxfordshire, England

Marque: Aston Martin
