Acura CL.jpg

Acura CL (YA1). 1997–9 (prod. n/a). 2-door coupé. F/F, 2156, 2254 cm³ (I4 OHC), 2997 cm³ (V6 OHC). First Acura to be made in the US, based around the Honda Accord (1993–7). Débuted after the deletion of the Acura RL coupé, although, being smaller, was not a replacement for it. Fours were never that powerful, but the car was refined. Stable ride, good steering, but all-independent double-wishbone suspension geared more for comfort.

Manufacturing location: Marysville, Ohio, USA

Marque: Acura | Model: Acura CL | Successor: Acura CL (YA4)
