AMC Rambler. 1969 (prod. 96,029). 2- and 4-door sedan, 2-door coupé, 5-door wagon. F/R, 199, 232 in³ (I6 OHV), 290, 390 in³ (V8 OHV). Rambler with the American model name dropped for its final year, now formally American Motors Rambler, with flagship hardtop now called Rambler Rogue. Hurst SC/Rambler (prod. 1,512) was offered only this year, with 390 in³ developing 315 hp, a performance car that could outpace much larger cars.
