Škoda 105/Škoda 120/Škoda 125L/Škoda 130 (Typ 742). 1976–90 (prod. 1,070,693 for 120, incl. 50,041 125L; 840,561 for 105; 49,749 for 130). 4-door saloon. R/R, 1046, 1174, 1289 cm³ (I4 OHV). Mainstay of Škoda range, but still with engine at rear. Cleaner styling for the 1970s, gradually improved during the course of its run, with mid-term changes in 1983. Spawned 743 coupé in 1981. Facelift in 1984, débuting 130 series, which formed the basis of 746 and 747 models. Commercial models built off this chassis as well. The 105 was built to 1987; 130 to 1988, when it was replaced by 135 and 136; 120 to 1990. Sturdy, but poor against western European competition. Called Škoda Estelle in UK price lists.
