Škoda 105/Škoda 120/Škoda 125L/Škoda 130 (Typ 742). 1976–90 (prod. 1,070,693 for 120, incl. 50,041 125L; 840,561 for 105; 49,749 for 130). 4-door saloon. R/R, 1046, 1174, 1289 cm³ (I4 OHV). Mainstay of Škoda range, but still with engine at rear. Cleaner styling for the 1970s, gradually improved during the course of its run, with mid-term changes in 1983. Facelift in 1984, débuting 130 series, which formed the basis of 743 and 746 sports’ models. Commercial models built off this chassis as well. The 105 was built to 1987; 120 to 1990. Sturdy, but poor against western European competition. Called Škoda Estelle in UK price lists.

Manufacturing location: Bratislava, Czechoslovakia

Marque: Škoda | Predecessors: Škoda Typ 717, Škoda Typ 719, Škoda Typ 722 | Successor: Škoda Favorit
