Changes for 1972, with fuel flap rather than an exposed filler neck, and improved ventilation. Two extra headlamps for 110 LS in 1972 for 1973 model year. Recessed door handles the following year, with quality and ventilation improvements; modern alternator for base models in 1973. Millionth rear-engined Škoda on August 29, 1973. Spawned 110 R coupé and derivatives (q.v.).
