Opel Cascada
From AutocadeOpel Cascada. 2013 to date (prod. n/a). 2-door convertible. F/F, 1364, 1598 cm³ petrol, 1956 cm³ diesel (I4 DOHC). Lovely four-seater cabriolet on an Astra J platform, as Opel goes after the likes of Volkswagen’s Eos and Audi’s A5. Smallest turbo 1·4 nets 120–140 PS; 195 PS for the top biturbo diesel. Adaptive chassis control system called Flexride, and rollover bar activates behind the rear seats in case the car rolls. Sold as Vauxhall Cascada in the UK; Buick Cascada in North America from the 2016 model year, with essentially the same grille. Australia and New Zealand had the Holden Cascada.
