From AutocadeFiat 1200 Cabriolet/Fiat 1500 Coupé/Fiat 1500 Cabriolet/Fiat 1500 S Coupé/Fiat 1500 S Cabriolet/Fiat 1600 S Coupé/Fiat 1600 S Cabriolet (Tipo 118G). 1959–67 (prod. 47,000 approx.). 2-door coupé, 2-door cabriolet. F/R, 1221, 1481 cm³ (I4 OHV), 1491, 1598 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Pretty, Pininfarina-designed coupé and convertible, derived from the Fiat 1100 platform, similar to the models from the same design house in 1957–8. Reliable engine for base 1500, though as with most Fiats of this era, the bodies rusted; OSCA DOHC engines for S, and five-speed gearboxes for the last of those models in 1965–6. The 1600 S models had 90 PS. Front disc brakes, improvements throughout run.
