Hyundai Santa Fe (CM). 2005–12 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 1991, 1995, 2188, 2199 cm³ diesel, 2359 cm³ petrol (I4 DOHC), 2656, 3342, 3470 cm³ petrol, 2656 cm³ LPG (V6 DOHC). US and Korean manufacture this time, especially with the first generation having been such a hit in North America. Larger than before, as expected, and optional third-row seating appealed to US buyers. Engines still not the best performers initially, at least not till the mid-cycle update in 2009 when new units were introduced, with Kia diesels and new petrol units were added. Safe, well equipped (USB and Bluetooth feature) and with a well designed interior, while externally, the lines had softened. Some models’ ride considered firm.

Manufacturing locations: Ulsan, Korea; Montgomery, Alabama, USA; West Point, Georgia, USA

Marque: Hyundai | Model: Hyundai Santa Fe | Predecessor: Hyundai Santa Fe (SM) | Successor: Hyundai Santa Fe (DM)
