Chrysler Valiant 225 Pacer.jpg

Chrysler Valiant (VF). 1969–70 (prod. 52,944 for all VF). 4-door sedan, 5-door wagon, 2-door coupé. F/R, 225 in³ (I6 OHV), 318 in³ (V8 OHV). Facelift for VE, with crisper, more modern styling. Hardtop coupé with 111 in wheelbase introduced—really the VF front grafted on to imported Dodge Dart (1967–9) panels at rear—and more a luxury machine than a sporting rival to the Holden Monaro (HT). Best remembered for the introduction of the Pacer sedan, with high-compression version of the six and two-barrel carburettor. Regal 770 introduced, initially to replace VE version of VIP.

Manufacturing location: Australia

Marque: Chrysler | Model: Chrysler Valiant | Predecessor: Chrysler Valiant (VE) | Successor: Chrysler Valiant (VG)
