Yue Loong Feeling (裕隆飛羚) 101. 1986–8 (prod. 16,653). 4- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1598, 1796 cm³ (I4 OHC). Five-door sedan based around Nissan Stanza FX, developed after a huge investment by Yue Loong to create a national car for Taiwan. C_d potentially as low as 0,29. Extremely well equipped. Engine derived from Nissan unit, namely the CA-18, but modified to have a marginally smaller capacity. However, quality concerns limited its success, and there was additionally behind-the-scenes tension with Nissan as Yue Loong tried to become independent. Smaller engine added in 1987.
