Wartburg
From AutocadeThe Wartburg name dates back to 1898 with a car made by Automobilwerk Eisenach. The marque lasted to 1904. It was briefly revived in the 1930s on a BMW-licensed version of the Austin Seven. In 1956, the brand was revived by VEB Automobilwerk Eisenach for its IFA F9 model, succeeding the EMW marque. Various models were built under the Wartburg brand in East Germany till German reunification saw to its close in 1991.
