Toyota Harrier (ACU30W/MCU30W/GSU30W/MHU38W)/Lexus RS330/Lexus RS350/Lexus RX400h (UCF20L). 2003–13 (prod. n/a). 5-door SUV. F/F, F/A, 2362 cm³ (I4 DOHC), 2994, 3310, 3456 cm³ petrol, 3310 cm³ petrol–electric hybrid (V6 DOHC). Second-generation Harrier, looking more sporty with fastback rear, with electronic air suspension. Loosely related to contemporary Toyota Camry (XV30). Hybrid added 2005. Mid-term changes 2006, with the three-litre engine deleted in favour of 3·5; equipment upgrades, to combat the likes of the Nissan Murano (Z50). Zagato limited-edition (250 units) in 2006. Even after the third-generation Lexus RX (L10) was introduced to the Japanese market, Harrier continued in Toyota range, but with 2·4 only. Equipment upgrades to the last models. Exported as Lexus RX330, RX350 and RX400h, and Canadian-made models bore those names, too. Decent ride, excellent build quality, but not as sporting as its looks suggested. Replaced in international markets by third-generation RX, but a separate third-generation Harrier took over in Japan in 2013.
