Toyota Corolla II (L20/L21). 1982–6 (prod. n/a). 3- and 5-door sedan. F/F, 1295, 1452 cm³ (I4 OHC). Until FWD Corolla arrived on the scene to combat the successful Mazda Familia (BD), Toyota offered a version of its Tercel, calling it Corolla II. Two 1·5 engines, the more powerful developing 90 PS with twin carburettors. Specification changes at beginning of 1984, mid-term changes in August that year.
