Toyota Blade. 2006 to date (prod. unknown). 5-door hatchback. F/F, 2362 cm³ (4 cyl. DOHC), 3456 cm³ (V6 DOHC). Replacement for Toyota Allex is essentially an Auris with a more powerful engine (123 kW) and different front and rear ends. Shares the Auris’s refinement with a bit more oomph as Toyota goes after hotter Volkswagen Golfs. In 2007, the Blade Master G was launched with engine from the Lexus RX350, developing 206 kW, challenging Golf R32.
