Tata Estate. 1992–2000 (prod. n/a). 5-door wagon. F/R, 1949 cm³ diesel (I4 OHC). Tata’s first attempt at building a regular passenger car, rather than something that appeared more like one of its trucks. The Estate still had the same base as the Sierra SUV, namely the Telcoline pick-up, but featured a more civilized, five-door body resembling the Mercedes-Benz S124 (T-Modell). Electric windows, power steering and tachometer among the luxury items of the time in India.
