TVR S
From AutocadeTVR S. 1987–94 (prod. 2,604, incl. 410 V8S). 2-door convertible. F/R, 2792, 2935 cm³ (V6 OHV), 3948, 4280 cm³ (V8 OHV). First TVR developed under Peter Wheeler, harking back to rounder, pre-Tasmin models. Announced at 1986 NEC show, where it received hundreds of orders, and in production in 1987. Some rust issues, but proven engines from Ford (Köln V6) and Rover (ex-Buick). S2 from 1989, S3 from mid-1989 with wider doors, S4C the rarest six-cylinder model from 1992. V8S from 1991 with 3·9 and Griffith drivetrain, but at least two 4·3s made by the factory.
