Third-generation Boxster gains slightly more aggressive looks, and remains Porsche’s entry-level model, a situation which would change as the company rejigged its line-up during the 981’s run (slotting it above Cayman). Structural changes from steel platform to one made up of aluminium, steel and magnesium, with front suspension redesigned. Excellent handling, with accurate steering, though let down by expensive options and thirst.
