Opel Karl/Vauxhall Viva. 2014–19 (prod. n/a). 5-door saloon. F/F, 999 cm³ (I3 DOHC). Entry-level hatchback replacing the Agila B, named after founder Adam Opel’s son, Karl, on the Daewoo Matiz (M300) platform. Base price at launch under €10,000 and slotted under Opel Adam. Reasonably well equipped for the price, with tyre pressure monitors, lane departure warning and hill-start assist. Opel models made in Korea; Vauxhall Viva twin, launching later, built in the UK. Related to Chevrolet Spark (M400). Tooling then headed to Vietnam where it became the Vinfast Fadil.
