Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight. 1985–90 (prod. n/a). 2- and 4-door sedan. F/F, 2967, 3791 cm³ petrol, 4310 cm³ diesel (V6 OHV). Second round of downsizing, and the shift to a front-drive platform, similar to the Buick Electra (1985–90). Smaller on the outside, interior room close to its predecessor’s. No V8 this time, despite the continuing name (90 series, eight cylinders). Regular improvements, with anti-lock brakes an option from 1986. Touring sedan from 1987, with additional equipment.
