Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight (H-body). 1992–9 (prod. n/a). 4-door sedan. F/F, 3791 cm³ (V6 OHV). Final fling for Eighty-Eight nameplate. Roomy interior. Two 3·8 V6s from Buick, with a changeover in 1995 to a more advanced Series II, with healthy 205 hp (up from 170 hp). “European”-handling LSS spun off from Eighty-Eight line in 1996. Facelifts in 1994 and 1996 (the latter clearly inspired by Aurora); 50th anniversary edition in 1999. Well priced, but very dated toward the end.
