Nissan Rasheen (NB14). 1994–2000 (prod. 72,793). 5-door SUV. F/A, 1497 cm³ (I4 OHC), 1838, 1998 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Lifestyle vehicle based around the B13 Sunny (in spite of NB14 model code), as Nissan explored niches with an early, domestic-market crossover. Not particularly able off-road, although all models had all-wheel drive. Curiously, the Rasheen was not a tall vehicle, with design led by Naoki Sakai, who had worked on the Nissan Be-1 and Pao. Promoted with the Japanese Doraemon cartoon character.
