Nissan R’nessa. 1997–2001 (prod. 40,000 approx. sold). 5-door wagon. F/F, F/A, 1998, 2389 cm³ (I4 DOHC). Crossover wagon aimed at 30- and 40-somethings in Japan, sharing a platform with the Nissan Presage (U30) and Nissan Bassara minivans. Not very successful, attracting a higher excise tax due to its width (1,765 mm). MacPherson struts at front, rear multi-link shared with Nissan Cefiro (A32). Spawned electric model called the Altra.
