Originally a minivan developed by Nissan in a venture with Ford in the US, for the North American market. By 2003, Nissan went it alone with a new-generation Quest. During that generation’s run, it was announced its successor would come out of Japan, commencing production in 2010. Declining sales saw Nissan cease production of the Quest in 2017.
